Monique’s Masquerade Birthday Party
When choosing her party colors Monique said she wanted something seductive and sassy with a touch of softness. She decided on pinks, reds, purples and gold. The colors were used throughout her venue in the florals, lighting and exquisite desserts. Because Monique loves sweets, no expense was spared when picking out the treats for the night. All were designed to match the decor including 3 oreo flavored birthday cakes. Monique’s color scheme was also represented in at least one of her gowns for the night but deciding on those was one of the hardest decisions in the process of planning the event. “Knowing I wanted 2 different outfits made things very complicated!” Monique said. She scoured her favorite high-end stores and finally settled on a red gown with a full skirt and a body hugging black number that was both sleek and sexy. Monique had a vision for this special night and refused to compromise. When offering up advice to others planning their own big day she said, “Pick 5 – 7 must haves that you cannot live without when starting your planning process – everything else is fluff!”
