Real Wedding: Erica & Dan
You’ve heard the saying, “Home is where the heart is,” and with a saying that couldn’t be more true for The Spitale’s they knew that their beautiful home would be the perfect setting for their fall nuptials, and boy was it stunning! Breanna Renee of ellyB Events and Andy Beach of Andy Beach Designs, created an intimate atmosphere that allowed the couple to incorporated various parts of their newly renovated backyard.
“It was very important for us to enhance the beauty that already existed in the space and for us to use every inch of the backyard that we could,” bride Erica Spitale said. “When Dan and I moved into our home, one of the first projects was overhauling and designing our backyard to create our own private oasis. So naturally we picked our home as our wedding location because it truly signified how far we’d come in life and as a couple”
Real Wedding: Jacinta & Leslie
Jacinta and Leslie met on one fateful September evening. She was on one side of the street and he was on another. Jacinta called out to Leslie, which prompted him to come over to meet her. They started talking, exchanged information, and that was the beginning of their forever. Leslie moved out of town for work, but they stayed in touch, and when he came back they picked up as though he had never left, and soon they were planning their special day. The couple hired ellyB Events to help them with the planning of their Atlanta, GA wedding while the couple was located in DC. Their wedding style was all about class and elegance. The ceremony and reception took place at Agnes Scott College, a breathtaking and historic venue with unique architecture and design that helped set the mood for the event. Details such as the gorgeous floral centerpieces complete with lush roses, golden accents on the table decor and design, a 6-tier gold and white elegant cake by Cakes by LaMeeka, candles, and of course the perfect mood lighting to accent the evening all helped create the elegant ambiance. Jacinta’s bridal gown was a an ivory/nude Justin Alexander Lace Mermaid Gown with Tulle Handkerchief Skirt. Her reception gown was gold with sequin embellishments to match her wedding colors. The couple honeymooned in Montego Bay, Jamaica where they enjoyed the sun, sand, and fun. Jacinta’s advice to brides is, “Enjoy the wedding planning process! Yes, the planning will inevitably get crazy and you may suffer from one or several mental breakdowns but just remember the real reason why you are doing this, and that is to marry the love of your life.”
